Management Team
Frank Murgic
CEO & President
Frank graduated from the Wayne State University Pharmacy program in 1990 and opened his first pharmacy in Windsor, Ontario two years later. Sunshine Drugs continues to grow with several locations now operating across the province.
As President of Sunshine Drugs, Frank has brought his vision for pharmacy to life by demonstrating and instilling the Sunshine Core Values to his team:

Frank is passionate about transitioning patients toward a healthier lifestyle, and helping patients reduce their medications. He developed ‘The Sunshine Way’, a proprietary method for helping guide patients towards the bright side of wellness.
Frank is a dedicated soccer dad and highly engaged with his children’s activities. He is also involved with several non-profit organizations and helps out in the community whenever he can.
Roberto Greco
Chief Operating Officer
Roberto is a graduate of the Wayne State University Pharmacy program and is currently a licensed Pharmacist in both Canada and the United States. He was a Pharmacy Manager for Big V Pharmacies and an associate owner for Shoppers Drug Mart in his early career.
Roberto joined Sunshine Drugs in 2010 as VP of Operations. He oversees the staff and operations of all pharmacy locations across Ontario. Roberto exemplifies the Sunshine goals to always put the patient first, focus on patient care and provide a solution-based approach. He ensures our pharmacies offer a one-stop experience by offering a variety of services within our circle of care.
Roberto supports our pharmacy staff by providing the resources and tools that allow them to achieve success in their work. He encourages personal growth and champions opportunities for staff to continuously grow their role within the Sunshine Drugs organization.
In his off-time, you will find Roberto outdoors engaging in some type of exercise, perhaps skiing, swimming, biking, or golfing. In 2023, Roberto was elevated to be Chief Operating Officer of Sunshine Drugs.
Sandra Brooker
Financial Controller
After graduating with her BComm from the University of Windsor, Sandra worked as a staff accountant in Windsor and Toronto. She worked as an Assistant Controller at a construction company before joining Sunshine Drugs in 2003, growing into the Financial Controller role as the organization grew.
Sandra supports the growth and ongoing success of the organization by directing the accounting staff and providing robust financial reporting to the management team.
Sandra likes spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys running, reading, hiking and biking.
Sophia Jovic
Director of Pharmacy Development
Sophia began her retail pharmacy career in 1994 as a pharmacy assistant at Sunshine Drugs. She is a passionate pharmacy leader with a wide range of knowledge in the pharmacy industry.
Sophia plays a vital role in staff recruitment, hiring and orientation for new employees. When new pharmacies are acquired, she coordinates the on-boarding of new staff and completes the necessary filings with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and third-party payors. Sophia also assists with implementing new programs and procedures across the pharmacy locations.
Outside of work, Sophia enjoys listening to music, cooking, exercising, and travelling.
Renee Prudhomme
Director of Pharmacy Practice & Programs
Renee graduated from Wayne State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and has many years of experience as a pharmacy manager in the Windsor-Essex County region. Renee uses her additional training in specialty compounding, smoking cessation, cardiovascular care and weight loss management to help patients manage chronic conditions. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals.
In her role as Director of Pharmacy Practice and Programs, Renee provides training and support to pharmacy staff on professional practice standards and the core values of Sunshine Drugs. She also works with the management team to develop, implement and manage clinical programs designed to help patients optimize their health.
Outside of work, Renee enjoys time outdoors, tennis, paddle boarding and travelling.
