Pharmacy Technician
Community Care Pharmacy – Windsor, ON

We are looking for dedicated individuals with experience in Kroll adjudication, batch filling, and inventory management to join our team. This role will involve working at our central fill location servicing pharmacies and long-term care homes across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Kroll adjudication and batch filling efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain inventory for optimal operation.
  • Receive training on advanced automation technologies such as PACMED and VBM.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • OCP Technician Licensure is a must.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy operations is preferred.

Pharmacy Technician
Carlton Heights Compounding Pharmacy – St. Catharines, ON

Carlton Heights Compounding Pharmacy has an opening for a full time Pharmacy Assistant. Candidate must be a flexible, reliable team player and self starter. Must be committed to providing excellent, fast, friendly customer care. Previous experience with Kroll software an asset. Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Duties:
– Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
– Prepare and package medications for distribution
– Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
– Enter patient information and prescriptions into the computer system
– Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
– Perform administrative tasks such as filing and organizing paperwork
– Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician preferred
– Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems

Skills:
– Medication administration: Assist with dispensing medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dosage instructions.
– Patient care: Provide support to patients by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering guidance on medication usage.
– Pharmacy Assistant: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including medication preparation, inventory management, and prescription processing.
– Medical terminology: Understanding of medical terms and abbreviations commonly used in pharmacy settings.“`
